For the UPT Puskesmas Rambatan II DM disease is included in the 10 most diseases with cases in 2020 there are 156 sufferers, only 45 people control the puskesmas. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of the characteristics of DM sufferers at the UPT Puskesmas Rambatan II, Tanah Datar Regency. In this paper there is no hypothesis because the researchers only looked at the description of the characteristics of patients with diabetes mellitus in the area of the Rambatan II Health Center. The population in this study were all patients who were in the area of the rambatan 2 health center as many as 25 people with diabetes mellitus in the Padang Magek area. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of respondents with diabetes mellitus at the Rambatan II Health Center, based on the age of the majority of DM patients aged 51-60 years, as many as 10 people (40%) and the minority age of 71-80 years as many as 2 people (8%) based on gender. The sex of patients with DM was mostly male as many as 11 people (56%). It is recommended that the Rambatan II Health Center is expected to pay attention to patients who have health checks or routinely control DM by providing education. The Puskesmas is also expected to ensure that patients are satisfied with the services that have been provided and ensure to all health workers that they have given what they are entitled to.
