DJAMIL PADANG %K %X According to the Framingham Study in England (2018), the last 4 years who suffered from recurrent stroke 29.5%, risk factors for recurrent stroke, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hypercholesterolemia, smoking, stress, and lifestyle. In Indonesia, the incidence of recurrent stroke is 19.9%, only 15% can recover. At the hospital. Dr. M. Djamil Padang in 2020 repeated strokes of 352 people. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of recurrent stroke. The research design used is an analytical survey, with a sample of 72 people. Samples were taken by accidental sampling. The data were processed by univariate and bivariate. with a computerized system. Most recurrent stroke patients experienced recurrent strokes (80.6%), hypertension (66.7%), diabetes mellitus (63.9%), hypercholesterolemia (56.9%), smoking habits (58.3%), stress (52.8%). Hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hypercholesterolemia, smoking habits and stress with the incidence of recurrent stroke with p-value .000 (p < 0.005).
