FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PASIEN CHRONIC GIDNEY DISEASE (CKD) YANG PERTAMA KALI MENGIKUTI HEMODIALISISDI UNIT HEMODIALISASI RS.TK.III Dr. REKSODIWIRYO PADANG

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients who will undergo hemodialysis cause psychological disorders, namely anxiety. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the level of anxiety in CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) patients who are undergoing hemodialysis for the first time at the Hemodialysis Unit RS.TK.III Dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang in 2020. The research design of the Analytical Survey which was carried out at the Hemodialysis Unit of RS.TK.III Dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang from February to November 2020. The population is 30 people and all populations are sampled. Computerized data processing through univariate analysis stage, namely descriptive statistics in the form of median, and bivariate analysis using chi-square with 95% confidence stage. The results of the analysis showed that 60% of respondents experienced moderate levels of anxiety and did not receive family support, 53.3% of respondents had poor knowledge and 56.7% of respondents did not accept. The chi-square results showed that there was a significant relationship between family support and anxiety levels, there was a significant relationship between knowledge and anxiety levels and there was a significant relationship between self-acceptance and anxiety levels with p-value = 0.000. The Director of the Hospital is expected to be a material for consideration and input for nurses, especially in the Hemodialysis nursing unit to determine the anxiety level of CKD patients who are undergoing hemodialysis for the first time. For further researchers, it is hoped that it can be used as basic data, thus enriching knowledge in the future and continuing research with different variables.
