HUBUNGAN KECANDUAN INTERNET DENGAN INTERAKSI SOSIAL PADA REMAJA DI SMA NEGERI 2 BAYANG

Abstract

Social interactions are dynamic relationships involving the relationship between individuals and individuals, individuals and groups. Social interaction in adolescents is very important because this social interaction affects the social development of adolescents. Adolescents also experience barriers to direct social interaction, including because they have few friends in the real world and lack good relationships with people around them because these because these individuals only spend time accessing the internet. This is caused by tenagers who do not interact and use the internet excessively which is not controlled more than 8 hours a day. Teenagers when hanging out with their peers are fun playing celliphones compared to interacting with others. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between internet addicion and social interaction in adolescents at SMA Negeri 2 Bayang.This type of research uses descriptive analytical method with a cross sectional approach. Data collection is done by using a questionnaire. The population in this study amounted to 554 students, the number of respondents was 75 teenagers using proportional random sampling technique. The results of this study found that less than half of students (49.3%) experienced mild internet addiction and more than half (62.7%) social interaction lacked interaction with peers and less than half of adolescents with mild internet addiction were more than. There is a significant relationship between internet addiction and social interaction in adolescents with a p- value of 0.000.Through the principal, it is hoped that there will be supervision of internet use and the purpose of internet use in adolescents so that the level of internet addiction in students is reduced and more focused on lessons at school.
