HUBUNGAN PARENTAL MONITORING DAN PENGARUH TEMAN SEBAYA DENGAN PERILAKU SEKSUAL BERESIKO PADA SISWA-SISWI SMK KOSGORO PADANG

Abstract

Sexual behavior is behavior that is driven by sexual desire that can be done alone or with the opposite sex. KPAI data in 2015 the number of cases of sexual behavior in West Sumatra was 2015 cases and in Padang City as many as 53 cases. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between parental monitoring and peer influence with risky sexual behavior in students of SMK Kosgoro Padang in 2022.This type of research is descriptive analytic. The research was carried out in February-September 2022. The population of class XI and XII students was 110 people, with the sample technique being Total Sampling, amounting to 41 people. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Data processing by editing, coding, entry and cleaning. Univariate analysis was carried out by means of descriptive statistics in the form of frequency distribution, while bivariate analysis was carried out by Chi-Square test with a significance level of = 0.05.The results showed that 51.2% of students had risky sexual behavior. 58.5% of students have good parental monitoring. As much as 51.2% of students do not get influence from peers. There is a relationship between parental monitoring and risky sexual behavior in students with p value = 0.016 and there is a relationship between peer influence and risky sexual behavior in students with p value = 0.008.It is hoped that the teachers at SMK Kosgoro Padang can provide reproductive health knowledge for their students so that they can prevent students from doing negative things. The school should cooperate with local health workers in providing counseling on reproductive health so that risky sexual behavior can be prevented and avoided by students.
