GAMBARAN PARAMETER KESIAPSIAGAAN MASYARAKAT DALAM MENGHADAPI BENCANA GEMPA BUMI DAN TSUNAMI DI RT 04 RW 02 KEL.LOLONG BELANTI KEC.PADANG UTARA, KOTA PADANG

Abstract

RT 04 RW 02 Kelurahan Lolong belanti Kecamatan Padang Utara Kota Padang is an area prone to earthquakes and tsunami because the area is located at a distance of approximately 100 meters from the shoreline. The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency distribution parameters of community preparedness of the earthquake and tsunami disaster in RT 04 RW 02 Kelurahan Lolong Belanti Kecamatan Padang Utara Kota Padang. The design of this study was a descriptive study, using primary data in the form of a preparedness parameter questionnaire from LIPI, knowledge, policies and guidelines, emergency planning, early warning, and resource mobilization. The sampling technique used the Non Probability technique by means of Accident Sampling. The results of this study showed that most of the community's knowledge was in the near ready category (32%), the policies and guidelines in the near ready category (37%), emergency plans in the ready category (37%), early warning the almost ready category (33%) and mobilization resource categories are less ready (33%). It is expected that RT 04 RW 02 can be counseled about earthquake and tsunami disasters, disseminating information on the related constitution / perda, preparing food ready for long-lasting, important telephone addresses, optimizing tsunami warnings both traditional / local or national, holding regular simulations of providing funding after a disaster.
