HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK YANG MENJALANI HEMODIALISA DI RSI SITI RAHMAH PADANG

Abstract

Patients with chronic renal failure require replacement therapy that can be performed with hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplantation. Data from PERNEFRI reaches 30.7 million people with chronic kidney disease and there are approximately 14.3 million people with end-stage renal disease currently undergoing treatment.based on reports of RSI Siti Rahmah number of patients with chronic renal gaagl in 2014 as many as 64 people, in 2015 as many as 81 people and in 2016 as many as 84 people each year there is an increase.research purpose is to determine the relationship of family support with the quality of life for patients undergoing hemodialysis. Research this is an analytic researchers using cross sectional study design.The study was conducted in the hemodialysis room RSI Siti Rahmah on 14 August until 19 August 2017. The population was all patients undergoing hemodialysis in Hemodialysis room.Sampling was done by total sampling is to take the whole sample there in August as many as 40 people.The data collection is done by using the data kuesioner.processing conducted in stages, editing,coding, entry and cleaning.The data analysis is done inivariat and bivariate using Chi-Square with a value of a = 0.05. The results showed more than half (57.5%) patients had less quality of life, more than half (52.5%) patients have the family support is not good.There is a relationship of family support to the quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure who underwent hemodialysis (p Value = 0.028) Based on the research results suggested that families can accompany the patient when treatment so as to improve the quality of life.
