FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KETIDAKSTABILAN EMOSI ANAK USIA SEKOLAH DI SD SN 27 OLO PADANG

Abstract

Data from basic health Research showed that 6% of Indonesia Population is experiencing emotional disorders, while in the city of West Sumatra about 4.5% of the population aged ≥ 15 years were experiencing emotional mental disorder, prevalence of mental disorders emotionally will continue to increase due to increasing age. The aim of the research is to knowing the factors that relate with emotional instability of the school age children at SD SN 27 Olo Padang on 2017.This research’s design is analitical descriptive with cross sectional study. This research’s sample were 89 students. Data that was collected using questionnaire has been processed with computerized system and were analyzed using univariat and bivariat using statistical test of chi-square. The result of the research obtained that fraction (21.9%) students have severe instability, another fraction (21.9%) students have emotional instability. More than a half  (56.2%) students have mild instability. More than a half  (71.9%) family environment affects the emotional instability of school age children, the great a part (78.1%) parenting parents affect the emotional instability on school age children, more than half of the respondents (65.6%) school environment affects the emotional instability of the school age children. This research recommended to the headmaster of  school to inviting parents/caregivers to monitor and supervise the development of emotions and behaviors of students both at home and in the school environment so as to minimize students who have unstable emotions.
