GAMBARAN PENERAPAN KONSEP 5R SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN KECELAKAAN KERJA PADA UNIT BALAI YASA PT. KERETA API INDONESIA DIVISI REGIONAL II SUMATER BARAT TAHUN 2019

Abstract

The application of the 5R concept is a stage for regulating workplace conditions that have an impact on efficiency, work effectiveness, and work productivity. Research aim to know the description of the application of the 5R concept as an Effort to Prevent Work Accidents. The research was used by descriptive qualitative. The research is located at the Unit Balai Yasa PT. Ketera Api Indonesia Divisi Regional II Sumatera. This research was conducted in February-August 2019. There were 5 informants in this research and the selection of informants was done by purposive sampling. From the results of the study it was found that the application of the 5R method for the Concise and Neat category was in accordance with Peraturan Menteri Ketenagakerjaan dan Transmigrasi  No.Per.01/MEN/1980 clause 6. The category of the dress was in accordance with the Peraturan  Menteri Perburuhan No.7 of 1964  about concerning health, hygiene and application requirements in work schedule clause 3 paragraph 4. In the application of the 5R category of care and diligence in accordance with the OHSAS standard 18001: 2007 clause 4.5.1. It is expected that PT. Kereta Api Indonesia Divisi Regional II makes a commitment to implement the 5R in writing and on display in every room and work location that is easily visible and reproduce the safety sign about the 5R.
