PENGARUH KOMPRES SEREI HANGAT TERHADAP INTENSITAS NYERI RHEMATOID ARTHRITIS DI RT 03 RW 16 WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KURANJI PADANG

Abstract

The Kuranji Community Health Center has the highest coverage of people with rhematoid arthritis in Padang City, as many as 231 people. Kuranji sub-district has 9 sub-districts, Kuranji sub-district consists of 18 RW and 90 RT, the highest incidence of rheumatoid arthritis is in RT 03 RW 16. The highest incidence of rheumatoid arthritis is in RT 03 RW 16 as many as 22 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of warm lemongrass compresses on pain intensity. A quasi-experimental study with one group pretest-pottest design, a sample of 10 people. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. There was an effect of warm lemongrass compresses on the pain intensity of rheumatoid arthritis with a p-value of .000 (p <0.005). Serei compress can be used as non-pharmacological therapy by nurses in reducing pain, especially in patients with rhematoid arthritis.
