Abstract

Carcinoma Mamae is a public health problem that can afflict everyone. According to WHO Carcinoma Mamae disease Carcinoma Mamae incidence increases every year by 7.3 million cases in 2015, to 8.2 million in 2016.Based on data from Dr. M. Djamil Padang in 2017 was 1593 cases in the outpatient unit. Interview results with 10 patients who went to the Dr. RSUP Surgery Hospital. M. Djamil Padang, 4 patients said that the distance of the place of residence with health services, 2 people said family support was not good, 4 patients said there was no cost to the hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect treatment delay in Carcinoma Mamae patients in RSUP Surgical. Dr. M. Djamil Padang in 2018. This type of descriptive analytic study with cross sectional study design. The population was all Carcinoma Mamae patients as many as 40 people. Samples were taken by total sampling, as many as 40 people. The study was conducted in August 2018. Data was collected by questionnaire and documentation study. Univariate analysis with descriptive statistics in the form of frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using Chi-Square statistical test if the value of p <0.05. The results of the study (50.0%) were late for treatment, (45.0%) poor family support, (62.5%) low economic status, (50.0%) the distance of the residence far away. There was a significant relationship between family midwives with delays in treatment of Carcinoma Mamae with p value (0,000), economic status with p value (0.009) and distance to stay with p value (0.027) delay in treatment of Carcinoma Mamae in RSUP Surgical. Dr. M. Djamil Padang in 2018. Through the director of RSUP. Dr. M. Djamil Padang can provide information about the importance of immediate treatment or early detection of Carcinoma Mamae disease so that there is no delay in treatment one by providing counseling and information in the media that the importance of health checks to health services.
