GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PENGHUNI RUMAH SUSUN SEDERHANA SEWA TERHADAP KESIAP SIAGAAN DALAM MENGHADAPI GEMPA BUMI DAN TSUNAMI DI PURUS PADANG

Abstract

A simple apartment purus is located in the coastal area of ​​Purus, which has a major impact on the occurrence of earthquakes and tsunami. Based on interviews with 10 sample, information was obtained that 50% of the population did not know the emergency response procedures, 20% of the population only knew but did not understand the emergency response procedures because it was better to save themselves first. This study aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of renters of simple flats to the earthquake and tsunami disaster preparedness in Rusunawa in 2016. The design of this study is descriptive with a sample of 69 inhabitants of Simple Rent Flats. Data is obtained in primary and secondary. This research was carried out in a simple rental apartment with the time this research was conducted in May to July 2016. The results showed that more than half of the residents had low knowledge of as much as 55%, and as many as 51% of residents had negative attitudes regarding disaster response. half of the rusunawa residents have low knowledge and negative attitudes so that the number can be reduced before and after jokes and simulations during a disaster and add or display poster posters for emergency response procedures in a Simple Flats.
